Easter Bunny Came Early

Easter bunny and Santa Clause are very supportive of the military. They try and come early when they hear a soldier is leaving their family. So here is our Easter, thanks to the support of the Easter bunny daddy as able to be there.
Here are some pictures of our Easter 2010.
coloring eggs at 11:30 pm.
Our Easter morning (SAT)
The kids got kites and decided to go fly a kite.....this ended with having to take colten to the ER due him twisting his ankle and swelling not going down.
Easter (sat) night, we spent the night having a great ham dinner that nothing turned out right except for the ham because it was precooked and finally watched the Blindside.
Then kids said their goodbyes to daddy and went to bed. Easter morning (sunday), sis and I took david to the airport and had an adventure because the roads were icy....yes, in April black ice. Had several near misses from being in an accident. Came home ran chasten to the drs and found out he has double ear infections. Then went to mom's and had a great time visiting with family and then come home and finished finals and watched the kids have glow stick sword fights.
One rule that a military wife goes through......everything happens right after the soldier leaves.....Its the truth ask a military spouse. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!!!!!

"My friend"

Tomorrow, I will lose "my friend". As long as I remember my friend has always been there with me. Through every birthday, holiday, and event that has happened, it has been sitting there right on me. When people would look at my friend and ask "what is that" or laugh, I would be there defending it." Its sad my friend never had a name. Its been many years and now we must part. My friend may be turning bad so it must go. It will be missed but excited to see what life is like without my dear friend.

Chasten

A little over a week ago, Chasten went to the specialists at Primary Children to figure out what is wrong with him. He has been diagnosed with Chronic stool retention and encupresis due to constipation which has caused his colon to enlarge. Now he has a mega colon. The good news is his colon should shrink over awhile the bad news is we have to have him go through colon cleanings and cleaning maintenance. This is not fun for him and not fun for us but over time his colon will shrink and his body will tell him when he should go "dump". After three months of cleaning he will go back to the dr and they will be able to examine why he gets constipated or if he has IBS. I am not excited about his cleaning out sessions but I am so glad to start getting some answers. It nice not hearing his tummy hurts but now his other end hurts. The one thing i am amazed about is how if your dumper doesn't work your whole system is affected, especially the stomach. God loves to make me strong!!!!

Happy Birthday Angels

Five years ago, I had the most wonderful experience (yes i can say that NOW!!!)giving birth to my angels. The last five years have really taught me so many lessons. I learned that I can live at the hospital and still be a mom and survive (thanks to so much help). I learned that pollution is very bad and not to take a green air day for granted. Health is everything and the hardest thing for a mother is to watch her sick child suffer and only wish I could go through it instead. Feeling left out is not always a bad thing (yes, my boys love playing with each other and sometimes mom is NOT welcome). Learning that life does happen fast and watching my babies grow up with knowing that this experience and stage will not be repeated wants me to keep them little as long as possible. AND THE BEST THING I JUST LEARNED TODAY!!!!! Caleb does learn by example (thanks Dave) and teaches his brother how to snore properly.

New Year 2010

The new year has officially arrived.
Kids are back into school and starting to get back into a positive routine. As each year comes to a close i reflect on that year and what took place in my life. First thing i must say is I am soooo glad 2009 is over with. Last year was a challenging year from some health problems to family problems. But last year was filled with HIGH's (david coming home) to the Lowest of lows (personal issues).
This year my goal is not to focus on the problems of last year but to leave those behind. This year is already looking positive due to me graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in June. I am so looking forward to that huge event in my life. Also, in 2010 Colten will get his drivers permit, finish 9th grade and become an official High Schooler. While my Coby will finish 6th grade and move onto Jr. High. I cant believe how old my kids are getting. Thinking back to when Colten was a baby, I thought his life would go by slow and now I cant believe how quickly he is growing up. So my resolution is to spend more quality time with each of my children because before I know it, they will be out of the house.
Live, Laugh, and Love is the motto I am focusing this year on.
2010 Here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
